HeartStar's Rock-It v Barick, OFARock-It pictured here taking his first champion points. Rock-It's is sired by 2xUS Grand Victor, Canadian Grand Victor Champion Marquin's Xtra! Xtra!, OFA (aka Scoop).   Rock-It's dam is Guardian’s Ester, OFA.  Rock-It is co-owned by Barbara Stamper of Barick Shepherds.  Rock-It is OFA "Excellent" (GS-72650E24M-PI) hips and available for stud service to approved females. Anyone interested in using Rock-It for stud service may contact us here at HeartStar.

Rock-It comes from a litter of 9 puppies (6 males, 3 females) whelped 9/18/2003.  His name comes from a dump truck's door.  We thought it had several meanings and sounded like Rocket but wasn't Rocket.   We had hopes that one day he would turn up the heat in the show ring and Rocket to the top.  A breeder can always wish the best for their children.

Pictured above is Rock-It's litter mate Manley at 3 months and taking Major Points at a show.  Manley is doing very well in the show ring and will soon be a Champion.  Rock-It and Manley helped their sire Scoop gain his ROM.

Kal-El.jpg (26804 bytes)

HeartStar's Kal-El was the Green collar male in the litter and maybe the best over all mover of the litter.  Picture above moving like the wind.

Tanner.jpg (47518 bytes)

HeartStar's Tanner was the Blue collar male and went to a pet home.  He lives with his pet cat in Tennessee.

Dear HeartStar,

If you need a reference on temperment of your dogs, I'd be happy to help, feel free to give people my info. As for this fellow (Tanner), he is very playful, besides cats he does great with children, chickens, he even bonded with a duck. The herding instinct is very strong in them though so he likes to run the horses up and down the fence line and chase a goat now and again. I do have to keep him supervised with the goats but he has learned a few herding skills. And as you know, early socialization and consistency in training makes a good pet! The fact that he is extremely smart and attentive doesn't hurt either. If you're ever in the Nashville area, come visit us.

Take care,

Susan

Ellie.jpg (44644 bytes)

HeartStar's Ellie was the Red Collar Female and went to a pet home  here in Atlanta Georgia.  She pictured here with one of her close family members (a bunny).

Dear HeartStar,

Ellie is an awesome pet - we have done some obedience training, as well as agility training with her. She is very smart and learns quickly.  She truly is a blessing to our family. She loves walking on the golf course behind our house and running around the yard with our kids. She does a good job of "playing" watchdog when the doorbell rings or someone knocks - but she is very gentle and loving with everyone who gets to know her.

Be blessed as you continue to bless others with your German Shepherds.

Max.jpg (72009 bytes)

HeartStar's Max-A Million v. Cranford (Orange collar male) went to a pet home here in Atlanta.

Dear HeartStar,

One of Max's favorite joys is playing with his best buddy Kassie a 4 month old solid black German Shepherd.  Some of the nicest features about Max are his sweet disposition, calmness and acute intelligence. Thank you so much for providing our family with the best pet we ever could have.

More of Rock-It's litter mates at 3 months (L-R) Red collared Male, Red collared Female, and White collared Female.  The Red Collared male should have been shown but the new owners didn't keep their agreement and did not show him.  The two female went to pet home.  Looking back on our decisions, we should have kept the white collar female for showing.
